Can anyone post any pics of their batteries in situ as I have to knock something up for mine, I'm assuming the factory location was between the inner wheel arch and the passenger foot-well bulkhead?

Pete

If the regs you are building to allow you'll want it on the left near the front in order to help the corner weights - assuming RHD ;-)

A trick is to change to an Odessy battery, way higher crancing amps/size ratio. So you can downzise the battery

I have an 18Ah (530A-5sec)motorcycle battery, that spin the engine at higher cranking rpm compared to the original 45Ah lead battery.

I FOUND PLENTY SPACE BETWEEN THE SEATS, ABOVE THE PROP SHAFT, TO FIT A HIGH PERFORMANCE BATTERY. BEEN IN 4 YEARS NOW, NEVER FAILED TO START SO FAR.
WEIGHT, ALOT LESS & IN A BETTER PLACE.

And yet you run it around with a horribly unfinished interior wink

One more vote for the Odyessy battery...hidden behind the dash board just above the gearbox in the Vixen.
