Starts Makes Noise Smells and Goes Well

Picked up the Vixen today from DB Engineering left it with them to have here tuned and set up for running in and all set up now a few agonising miles to do under 3000rpm any one fancy driving round Kent slowly for a couple of days please put your hands up.

Before the rebuild she Started made noise smelled badly and was not going well
Now
She starts makes a nice noise smells sweet and goes nice when warmed up will be interesting to see what she does once run in and tuned for good.

Problems seem to have been from the fuel and timing set up I had presumed when I bought her back from Germany that all was correct however once I gave the Engineers that supplied and balance the pistons etc the spec sheet the settings they gave me where far different from what they where so a costly lesson learned first port of call with an unfamiliar car is Trailer pick up then Tuners next time before driving any distance.

Nice to have her back

Brooklands New years day will put some miles on her

No Way she is going as she is gave her a quick spray wash polish when I got back and put her to bed will not tempt fate if the Sun Gods see some wax they will defiantly send Rain and if they don't then Great its always a great way to start the year

Its yours mate when do you arrive I will even give you a full tank to start you off sticking to 60 for 500 miles is like a prison sentence for me?

Sorry Mike you cant photograph noise and smell regards before and after I am still waiting for some pictures that Alan took when he did the work of restoring the car
