Can anyone with a vixen running 6J x 15 minilite type wheels on the front of a vixen give me their backspace measurement. IE the distance from the hub face that bolts up against the hub to the inner rim edge in milimetres.

Richard (fiscracer) your green cars wheels used to be my wheels and are compomotives, the dims of those would be helpful if you have time to pull a wheel.

cheers
neil.

Neil,

I have the Compomotives, too, and they measure up at around 95 - 96mm. Sorry can't be more exact but had trouble finding a straight edge the right length the span the rim...

If you need the exact dim I can cut a piece tonight & confirm..

Cheers,

Stef

The green car is in Wales I'm afraid but I'm 99% certain the blue car has the same back space. I will check for you.

Spot on..

After taking literally a year to decide..decision made..

8j x 15 rear 97mm Backspace with 225 60 15 tyres
7J x 15 front Zero Offset with 195 / 65 tyres

These will be interchangeable with my racers rears which I am also buying spares for, which means ~I can pinch dads yokos for 1b racing in place of historics wink
it also keeps rolling radio sensible and fills arches along with keeping front steering manageable.
