Land rover rear stop lens ?
Discussion
Long shot I know,Just thought one of you chaps might recognise this rear stop lens from a challenge race car. I have what I believe to be a land rover rear stop light lens from a fairly old land rover circa 1989 possibly on the back of my race car. Does any one know what it is off and year. Any idea's as to where to purchase one would be good also. The lens has "Thorpe" and "made in England" written on it no numbers though and has a flat ali rear plate & is 95mm across.........

No problem...The VERY first road going Tuscan racer was converted by Russ Hughes and myself here during the second season of the racing...this is now with Russ in the MI USA and sadly I have a lot of notes from that time.

Just in case you are interested Adrian this is the road legal race car I have that the lights are on. It was raced originally by Mr Mc Alpine or his son I believe. I now race it with the CSCC in "Future classic" series. This car was an early one ,I can tell by the roll cage side bars.Adrian@
