We are in the process of restoring and preparing our Mk2A Grantura for the Goodwood Members' Meeting at the end of March. Only finished the chassis a week ago and received the body back from the paint shop so plenty to do!

Chose to bolt the body on rather than bond it.

Original tacho and speedometer away for refurbishment. Dash top gets trimmed this week. We decided on a black crackle finish aluminium dash.

Thanks A.

Really enjoying doing this project but a real effort required due to the fact we hadn't touched the car when we received our invite to compete. In that time we built the chassis, repaired the body and got it painted plus refurbished all running gear. Having to get new diff output shafts made and new "half shafts" out of solid. A lot of re-engineering of the rear uprights as they were originally a BMC jig saw puzzle! Making our own torsion bars too.

Substantial advice from Brian Holmes and Ian Massey-Crosse who are both mines of information so huge thanks to them both.

That's always the problem when you don't specialise in a particular make and only learn who provides these things as you progress. What's the name of your business and how can I contact you if I need anything else? Cheers

nice, what about all those alu sheets and iron sheet plates also with those holes, is that extra or do some TVR came with those? never seen that.
I guess it makes the chassis more rigid?
