No SPARk HELP!
Discussion
Assuming you are running standard points type ignition, check that you have power to the coil, make sure the points have gap and that they open and close as the distributor turns. Next, have a mate crank the motor over while you hold the cap end of the coil high tension lead close to a ground like the block (insulated pliers can prevent shock). If there is no spark, you might have a bad coil, or bad points/condensor. Make sure that the wires to the points are not grounded. IOf you have spark try cranking the motor with the same high tension lead close to the distributor rotor. If you get a spark jump here, replace the rotor. If no spark, check the cap center carbon.
