Hello

I haven't run my Essex for over a month, started fine, runs fine, but I seem to have rather a lot of condensation coming out of the near side exhaust.. I have always had a problem with condensation in the exhausts causing black marks on the wall behind the tvr when I start up,

I tasted the water, it has no antifreeze... Can I really have so much water condensed in my exhaust that I create a puddle while idling ?

It condenses in the exhaust system, when the car is shut down. When you start it, it pushes out of the tailpipe, with the exhaust. It's not all part of the "real time" combustion process.

Hence why starting your car and warming it up without giving it a proper run will always leave some condensed moisture in the exhaust.
Everyone is different but I try to avoid starting the cars unless they are going out for a proper run.
With a stainless system it not really a problem but with a steel exhaust system it will just rot from the inside out.
This weather we are getting does not help either.
