Hi there.
Q1: Has anyone successfully managed to unstick a stuck clutch (friction plate rusted lightly onto adjacent surface or is it more likely the release bearing stuck?) without having to drop the gearbox out please?
I read on tvr m fix it about the brake cleaner spray approach through the front aperture on the bottom of the clutch housing. Does this work at all?? How do I avoid a potential fireball with the exhausts so darn close by...? Also I did not have a cover plate on the said aperture. Is my understanding that there should actually be one there?
Any help will be very much appreciated thank you. I should say that the cable is operating properly as is the fork.

Q2: I noticed a connector hanging down under the bonnet today. It has detached itself from the hydraulic fluid distribution unit. Whilst reattaching it I noticed that it has two cable connectors on it too, one comes from the loom, the other was unconnected.... Do I need to connect this to somewhere please? Also, when reattaching the main two pin connector, a light comes on and stays on, on the dash. Is anyone able to answer which light and why that would come on please?

Q3: is it possible to get hold of any seals for the front indicator/side lamp or reverse lamp units please?

Q4: is it possible to get hold of the exhaust mounts that hold each individual pipe just behind the rear gearbox mount? Has anyone any photo of theirs please that they may like to share?

Many thanks in advance for any possible help or advice
M

Hi Adrian@
Many thanks for the positive response.
Regarding Q1, is the correct tool available for sale with some instructional advice by any chance?
The car is an early 1972 3000M, but has been subject to some restoration over the years.
Many thanks again.
