TVR Dealer Key Rings
Discussion
I found this in the drawer today I had forgotten about it a Friend gave it to me a while back that was on his keys when he bought his MG and thought I would like it.
There is some green paint so seems like from the late 60s or early 70s
I did ring Mole Valley a while back and they remember making them when they where TVR main dealers hence the Mole holding the TVR sign
I just thought it would be an interesting thread if others have TVR key rings that the original dealers did specially maybe you can post a picture and the dealer name
Cheers

I've got one from John Britten but no photo (I think it's just gone with the car to the bodyshop). This was a leather fob with an enameled badge - both a bit ravaged by time I'm afraid. They also put a larger enameled badge on the rear end below the number plate and that looked like this:-

The key fob was the same design, just smaller - but no mention of TVR unfortunately.
The rear end badge will be going back on once it's been restored to its former glory. Not sure if the key fob can be restored but the badge could possibly be transferred to a new leather bit.

My Taimar was bought from John Britten. I have not seen any other TVR's with the JB badge on; are then any?
Yup - bought mine from them in 1980 and still have the original receipt. Apparently, the car belonged to the girlfriend of one of the guys that worked there and sold it when they split up (IIRC).GB
I know of a 3000S in Yorkshire with the JB badge on the back, though the car hasn't seen the road for a few years now but I believe is shortly to be restored by it's long term owner and his son. I have seen quite a few JB badges over the years.
I don't think that Mole Valley were TVR owners until around the late 1980s/early 90s, so doubt Andrew's key ring is as old as he thinks.
Oliver.

I think your right I did not ask them the year they where produced its the green on the tvr emblem that made me think earlier rather than later I don't think that Mole Valley were TVR owners until around the late 1980s/early 90s, so doubt Andrew's key ring is as old as he thinks.
