Have no idea about these cars so here goes for the adventure...... You will probably see some stupid questions but also I hope a few intelligent ones.

Being a TVR owner already I wanted something classic with horsepower. So now investigating what I can do with the heavy V6 Essex engine so any thoughts would be appreciated and also on the suspension set up since I have to rebuild her. So nows the time to put things on the drawing board. Also does anyone know who to speak to about the exhaust manifold systems I hear this is fundamental change for power output and torque

Hi

Congratulations with your car. Before you get too deep into your build process, take contact to your national FIA representative. The M series was not homologated in that time, so it do normally require a special process to get approved, or partisipation in a "non modified" class.

I'm 90% thru the process of getting my car approved for hill climb and rally sprint (not real rallies but closed road based tracks) And it is a bit tricky, and both the safety regulations as well as the modifications are allmost impossible not to violate. So better talk to the FIA guy in advance of dooing something he wont approve.
