I'm in the process of assembling the M, had have 2 places where I can't figure out how to assemble the bits.

One beeing which kind of screws to use for fixing the aluminum piece that sits between the vinyl roof and the paintwork, under the rear window. It was fixed with wood screws that some way (i still wonder how) did attach them to the body.

The other beeing how to prevent water entering the cabin around the tank cap. The hole in the fiber have a square cut-out for getting the small air outlet tube attach to the filler tube, ane the rubber gromet have a similar cus, that will leave a 1x1 cm square hole after fittet. When i disassembled it, was it full of bathroom silicone to fill it, is that the original way ?

When I took mine apart it was filled with DumDum which was almost certainly done by the factory. I haven't re-sealed it yet but was planning on using some sort of RTV sealant. It's a big hole so it will need to be viscous so that it can fill the gap without dripping all over the place.

Not too keen on dollars, they seem popular amongst Americans which is worrying but happy to divulge the answers for mere 1 million pounds.

Save your money till September, all being well I and a few friends will probably be bringing a Mercedes Sprinter van down to Beaulieu in September bursting with all those rare and elusive classic TVR parts which you could spend your life trawling the interweb for and never finding.

Roger that, Steve! Doing well, with the exception of the 100 degree temperatures here.
Hoping you are keeping well, and will see you September with a bucket of dollars to spend.
Best,
D.
