I don't know the car nor the seller, but it looks very pretty and although Alfa TC engine not original it feels like a nice package. Someone should be quick to get it for themselves before a dealer adds a wedge.

Does look nice and that Alfa TC looks made for it.

Wish I had the cash/space for it.

looks and sounds like a great combo, the whole package, can not remember seeing one before with such engine, also great price if the chassis is good.

It was on Ebay about 5 or 6 years ago. I spoke to the owner at the time, he had owned the car for a long time, in fact if memory serves he may have owned it twice. Anyway the conversion was done by him and yes i think the engine suits the car.

Strange thing is I posted about the car first thing yesterday morning when it cam up. The post was then closed by PH. I checked with them but they didn't seem to know why so I re-posted later yesterday. There must be a conspiracy theory in there somewhere!

Just Back from Classic Le Man and a wonderful weekend despite a 5 hour wait in Calais with the Eurotunnel Closures.
However one of the highlights of the trip was meeting Eddie and his Wonderful Wife sorry I am terrible at remembering names but had the wonderful news that She YES SHE has bought herself a S2 Vixen which hearing of her plans for the car they are going to restore to a fantastic level.
So Well done that lady and well done Eddie for taking on the supervision as she takes on the Work wink with a little assistance from you.
Please can everyone give as much help and advice as they can and be kind and gentle especially with a special lady on the Classics forum we don't get that many maybe you should get your own name I suggest Living the dream or Not Dreaming.
Well Done and welcome to ownership of one of the most wonderful little cars in the world

we took 14hrs from Guildford to Le Mans...

Awesome drive some of the French back roads were amazing - I met this lovely couple whilst utterly inebriated...luckly they didnt notice and try to steal by corner bumpers!

It'll be a lovely project!!

(PS not sure why thats on this thread - did they buy the Alfa-Romeo Vixen?
