Parts/advice wanted Vixen S2
Discussion
Hi all,
Just started a restoration of my latest Vixen, it's an early S2. I'm just at the stage of working out what parts I need to repair/refurbish or replace.
Firstly as it's an early S2 it has the pre-servo brake setup. Does anyone know the part number for the brake, and whilst I'm at it the clutch master cylinder? Both are seized, so will either need to be replaced or rehoned.
I'm also after a pair of low back seats - any condition as I'll get them recovered.
thanks in advance
Matt

Sorry no answers on this yet regards the seats i know someone on the forum has a mould that may be able to make you a set they do come up for sale once in a blue moon but getting a set made might be an answer
Maybe others have missed this thread so i thought i should pull it back up to the Top
Master cylinder may be better to get it engineered and stainless sleeved depending on the level of pitting

The piston in the Master cylinder is jammed, but currently soaking in WD40 so hopefully will come out. Think the sleeving option will be most likely route.
Not much other progress, deciding whether to return to original spec and replace the 1700 x-flow with a standard x-flow, but early days. Car also has the same 'checker plate' that you find on the door sills lining the bulkhead and flat bits over footwells. This looks original, but not seen this on a Vixen before. Can't tell from original pictures if this was fitted. Car is ex TVR demonstrator OFR. Should be an article in Sprint next month..
