Hi guys. What do you have in your dash? Original or modern radio?
Also, where were the original speakers put? I can't see much room other than creating a new back shelf....

It's a good question ,one I've been pondering my self , but I'm going to fit 4x6x9s in the foot well sides in some fixed panels plus two in the back somewhere?? Not going with a radio or cd etc but think ill use my I phone on blue tooth to an under dash amp ?? You can get top amps with just an app on you're phone job done. I hope. Richard

Eight tube pipe organ.

Some day, I'll even hear it.

Best.

The noise in my Vixen really defeats the purpose of a good radio, but if I where to install a modern radio into a classic again I'd try to get hold of a McIntosh MX406. Used to have one in my MGB. They look classic and have superior sound to modern tin cans smile

I've got 70's hard plastic speaker housings I put new speakers in. They will surface mount in the back and the housings have 30 degree hard faces so won't damage if they get knocked. Should be fine.
However - bit of a problem - Motorola with iPhone input all looks nice sitting on the bench but won't bl**dy fit. It's OK for the aperture but there's the heater pipe is in the way so it won't go fully back. Does anyone know if the heater pipes can be rerouted??
Many thanks

Thanks for the modern /old radio link. But I realise that running the whole radio cd system from I phone is a bit over the top but i have a sort of 60s look to the car and can't see one that would look good with all the modern features , so I thought just have I small phone dock ?
