1600M back in paint

Well, finally got the 1600m painted,my father took it off the road 20 years ago for restoration and now its my turn to sort it out

I had a 1600M in metallic blue with silver band, it looked stunning. Sold it in the late 80's, reg no NVX795P. Could it be yours?.

Hi moto reg number TTU101R it was dark blue with a cream stripe and black vinyl roof

Looks great both old drawing & your new paint job...did you have to prep the roof a fair bit as I am still not sure whether to get mine re-vinyled/ repaired or take off and paint same as body colour like you seemed to have done successfully ? (which is white with brown sunroof to match stripe)

The roof needs redoing as there are 1 or2 imperfections but going to leave it a couple of months to settle before it goes back in. The colour is Vauxhall Aldon blue ,nearest match I could get to my old taimar
