Hi All,

Had my '77 car MOT'd at the weekend following very little use over the past 2 years or so.
MOT man mentioned play in the steering rack bushes and suggested I replace as soon as poss.
I have a set of 'Superflex' [I think that's the name] bushes in the garage - bought probably 3+ years ago but not yet fitted.
Does anyone have experience / tips in replacing these bushes?
Had a quick look yesterday and couldn't easily identify how the mountings are fixed, car is as standard as far as I'm aware.
Thanks in anticipation.

Throw the rubber and poly ones away and replace them with alloy units (21.50) they still allow the rack to move right and left and do not allow the car to "take a set" when cornering. Adrian
