Wiper wheelbox question.

Where the wiper motor wheelboxes bolt through the scuttle panel on my Vixen, what should go between the thin wheelbox securing nut and the panel??

When I dismantled the car the nuts were done up tight onto the paintwork, scouring some lovely rings into the fibreglass, now that this is all repaired and painted, I'm guessing there should be some sort of washer or nylon spacer for this to tighten onto?

Any suggestions welcome.....

Mine has a rubber washer against the bodywork, then a chrome washer and then the nut.

From memory I bought a kit for a Mini, it came with new nuts, sealing washers etc. Also had nylon stand-off sleeves. You could try looking at the Holden web site (www.holden.co.uk/ ) for some ideas.
