I feel like a fool
Discussion
I have a problem, which I feel I would normally figure out in minutes, however I'm stumped!
The basic problem is the car won't start. There is juice in the battery and fuel. When I try to start it the starter fires up, turns it over about 2 or 3 times and then BANG! (The kind of bang that tells you you should of opened the garage door because your ears are now hurting!)
So I thought "back fire", so I turned the ignition off, disconnected the 12v lead from starter to coil, and turned the starter over without the ignition system on to see if I'd flooded it... and again 1 2 3 .. BANG!
Anyone?

i am guessing by the previous distributor questions that you have had the dizzy out and you have re-fitted 180 degrees out.The basic problem is the car won't start.
