Taimar - suitable for tall blokes?
Discussion
My lady likes the look of the Taimar and thinks I should get one. The only thing is that I'm 6'2" and I know earlier TVRs didn't have the largest cabins so is it big enough for me?
As a guide I can fit in my S and have the seat a couple of clicks forward from the rearmost position. The only proble in the S is that there is not enough headroom when wearing a helmet.

Thanks for the reply KANEIT,
Doors won't be a problem - I'm built like a racing snake so can easily slip through small gaps. Used to be able to get in and out of a Westfield with the hood up.
Headroom is my biggest concern but as you can fit then there is sufficient space to start from. Seats can always be replaced or lowered. Time to look for one I think.

Hi Jed, I am 6ft 4ins and have owned over 40 plus M series over the years....there is such a thing as a tall peddle box, with cranked peddles that can be swapped directly into the car, I have moved these around my cars all my life, as cars have moved on, the last job would be to swop it out. The later peddle boxes (these have heart shaped peddle rubbers are a better ratio and more suited to the lady driver, if she is to drive) I have a 1978 customer Taimar full chasiss rebuilt on unleaded and 5 speed that I can point you at, and a customer Taimar Turbo in the same condition. (neither cheap but, both people have been diagnosed with health issues and are looking for good homes more than anything else) PM me direct.

I am 6ft and my son is 6ft4, we both fit in my Taimar with no problems, getting out keeps you fit.
The onle problem I have is fastening the 4 point harness in mine, I have to fasten it with the door open then shut the door once belted in as there is not enough elbow room to fasten the belt with the door shut.
