If I wanted to export a classic TVR !!
Discussion
Any car over 15 years old can be imported into Canada but the Government is trying to change the rules to permit only cars 25 years old. This would then be the same as the US. Might last another year. It is an attempt to keep Skylines etc. from Japan out of the country. I hope to import a Cerbera if the import cut off date does not change too soon.
Anyone with a 15 year old Griff in very good condition should make sure the advert gets to Canada, especially if it is LHD. I want it!

Importing an older car into Australia is pretty straight forward. I imported a 3000M into Australia in 2005. For cars over 15 years old there are no restrictions nor compliance issues requiring mods to the car to meet the Austrlian Deign Rules (ADRs). If the car is less than 15 years old then mods may be required to meet the ADRs and a compliance plate is required to be fitted.
If the car is over 30 years old there is a tax advantage in not having to pay duty, but will still need to pay 10% GST (VAT) on the "landed value" of the car. If the cars landed value is over $57,000AUD (I think, can't remember the exact figure, then Luxury Car Tax will also need to be paid (I think this is 15%).
Don't know much about New Zealand apart from observations that they get all the hot cars out of Japan that Australia never gets except for the grey imports. So can only assume their rules are less restrictive than Australia (for cars less thna 15 years old anyway). New Zealand has no car manufacturing industry to protect unlike Australia.
Have a look at this government website, it will tell you all you need to know and provide links to Customs and Quarantine requirements as well.

Good luck!
