Question for those who driver M series

As I am currently restoring my car its worth me (within reason) upgrading any known weak spots in the car...
Im planning to use the car for spirited country road driving mainly in the Welsh mountains...
1,How well do the standard brakes fare when faced with "fun" driving? I have a new servo and master cylinder...but standard brakes.
2, I have this bizare nagging in my head that the 2500m has a tendency of over heating/running hot with the standard thin small radiator fitted. Is this really an issue? There is plenty of space for a much larger rad...
3, Does anyone have any detailed photos of the doors inside and outside showing the windows and frames? And also, any high resolution photos of a webasto roof from the inside and outside?
Any thoughts appreciated.

There are some images here that show how the Vixen doors and windows go together. I know nothing about the M series but they may be similar in construction...

The inner bearing seal has been fitted incorrectly. The second time in the last week that someone has pointed to sites that have poor information on!
Perhaps it is not worth mentioning though!

Duncan - see the LB U2U I sent you - I can send a dimensioned drawing of the Vixen windowframes if you need it as they are off the car and bare at the moment.

I recall having cooling problems with a 2500M which I ran during the early 1970s.
There were two electric fans forcing air through the rad and I fitted an override switch. This didn't solve the problem as I suffered water loss as well, possibly due to a cylinder head crack between inlet and exhaust valves. This was a weakness on the triumph 250 engine which was used, I believe, in export TR6s.
Adrian's suggested modifications might help greatly.

Tegwin - I have, going spare for nowt, the four alloy trims that line the aperture in the roof, of which two act as guide channels for the sliding sunroof and one acts as the striking plate for the catch. I also have the front metal crossmember of the sliding sunroof that houses the locking catch. That's not too badly corroded but the rear fixed plate is knackered. I don't have the vinyl part.
As Adrian says do a search on this forum and you might find info on people who can renew the vinyl parts of the sunroof. I did ask a while ago but didn't pursue that route when I decided to glassfibre the roof over. I bought a roof section, cut the centre out and flushed that in.
I also have the remaining roof section, I think, if that may be of any use to anyone who could pick it up. Maybe one could use it to set up sunroofs or maybe it's just junk, maybe it's all junk but in my little world I imagine it could be useful as templates/guides/reference!
