Nope the wheel is OK .... I'm over here in the US in a rental car converting the locals to driving on the correct side of the road. The mission is proving tricky in the snow but I feel success is iminent :-)
ps My V8 is also RHD
Well they got snow in the UK so you didn't get away from it. We are in western Canada and we have it also. Parked my 3 Tivs a couple of weeks ago and just driving my 4x4s for the rest of the winter. Doing some upgrades to one of my Taimars this winter and going for 400HP. It is a Ford 302 that is stroked to 347. The other Taimar is a 79 with a slighty built 302 with an automatic for the Spousal Unit to drive. My 17 year old daughter has my old supercharged 73 2500M that we just finished putting a Toyota Supra 5 speed into and it was a big improvement. Saving just over 700RPM in top gear at 65MPH. Talk to you later and will send you an e-mail with a pic or 2 of our TVRs.ps My V8 is also RHD

Wayne,
We also have two 302 engined cars ..
Mine is a 3000M based car that blew up hillclimbing and is sat folorn covered in snow under a cover on my drive.
Alloy heads, Offenhauser/Isky/Mallory/Steel Flywheel etc awaiting fitment of new driveshafts and strengthened wishbones from Mr Venn
My brothers is a Taimar just having the chassis done ....
How did you get the exhaust manifolds to fit and can you tighten the cylinder head bolts with the engine in the car ??!!
Cheers
Chris

No this is the monster. It is a 302 4 bolt main that has been stroked to 347 with a 5 speed standard and lots of engine mods. HP to weight ratio is unreal and lots of HP at the rear wheels. Skates the tires at 60 MPH in third when you step on it if you can keep it straight. The 302 with the automatic is the car closest to the green Griff out front of SportsCarParts shop. Those ears are the best spot to have the mirrors as it gives excellent view of other cars no matter where they are coming from. Over here with these cars being so rare you need every option open to you to avoid people driving into you when they take a peak as they seem to turn the steering wheel when they turn their head. Daughter does that when she is driving her supercharged 2500M(middle red TVR.) to see if there are cute guys in the car next to her. Have the 302 automatic (Spousal Unit's Taimar) in the shop right now getting her Micky Mouse ears installed and the holes from old mirrors filled and painted. Were the pics worth waiting for???? Will post new pics here if anybody is interested in seeing what we are doing to the monster while it is in the shop this time. Hint... Cross between an old Vixen and 69 Z28 or 69/70 Heavy Chevy but with lots more HP than any of them. Will post new dyno sheets also as we are doing both flywheel and rear wheel dynos this winter.
I do like the blues better than the reds but red seemed to be the big colour choice over here in those years. I do have another paint choice if I ever went that route and if the interior was the right colour than the blues would have me for sure as there are nice pics on thread and in profiles here. All the best and HAPPY MOTORING.....
PS: I was just wondering if the factory kept the best coloured cars in Europe for you guys and sent us the cars with the colours that were going to be a hard sell.
