Want to remove the bonnet for access, is it best to remove the 2 horizontal bolts or split the vertical bit - which gives less problems when re-aligning bonnet?
I must put a quick release mech on it, it already has a multi pin on the wiring.

thanks
David

Mine was off the car when I bought it...

The horizontal bolts were removed rather than the upright parts... Im guessing that will be easier to keep the height the same when you re-fit it...

Remove the 2 horizontal bolts. Definitely; definitely remove the horizontal bolts...horizontal bolts. Definitely.
Just mark their position with a scribe or a spray can so that you put he hinges back exactly where they belong.

Thanks for response - bonnet (or 'Hood' to some) is off the car via horizontal bolts and all marked for the replacement.
