just bought another one !!
Discussion
just collected on Saturday, a nice 1600M with 2 webers,a lot of work done by David Gerald some years ago( 1999 to 2004), chassis change, new 5 speed gearbox and diff, full retrim in black leather, reconditionned t-slots, full paint ( I am not sure perhaps techno violet??),new bumpers, new wiring with relay, alloy M radiator, engine rebuilt 4 years ago but no invoice and I doesn't know exactly the specification like the cam etc , new clutch last year, nice to drive

Few months ago I was interested by a 3000M like your nice 3000M racer Nicholas also a green V8M, and change my plan, after that a chimaera or griffith tempted me, but not easy to find a good one and register here, and seen this one, why not!!It is fast for a 1600, the handling seem very good also!

Interesting that there are so many European Purchasers with the Euro strong. I have someone coming from France to buy my Tuscan V6
You should be set adrift on a raft in the English Channel.A disgrace.

Just picking your brains. The french guy is coming to pick my car up next week at the proce we agreed. I really dont want to let it go, but with the racing season almost upon us and a house development to pay for it seems like it will have to.
What would you say is top money for a nice V6 TUscan? I have agreed a price with him which I think is in my favour and hust need reassuring that its a good deal and that im not being a nutter.....

Sold a nice car a couple of years ago, and regret doing so.

I played the lottery on saturday in the hope that I could step in and save this one for the nation, twas not to be though. I guess its the one I saw at the Brands Tuscan Challenge meet last year, it looked to be in very good order.
Think big if you are selling to a continental, they've had a big boost in spending power with the fall of the Pound against the Euro and TVRs in general command pretty high prices once they've got them across the channel. Do a search on http://www.classicdriver.com for examples, 21K for a 3000M! ok its LHD but still.....
Back to dreaming, I am looking out for a Vixen project if anyones thinking of selling.

Owen, I sold a 3000S Turbo to Germany the last time the pound was weak (I got it back though!). It sold for 29,000 GBP in 1992 which was a stupid price for a RHD car - but it was and IMHO still is, the best example there is of that model with history and provinence (sp?).
I would ask 15000 Euro (no offers) and I think it will sell.
