Sorry in advance for such a mundane subject! But, what is best to use to paint/coat the rear inner arches.
My vixen appears to have the scruffy remains of underseal or something. Can underseal be used on fibre glass or does it adversely affect it in any way? I assume that rather than just painting the arches, underseal would provide a bit of protection and noise reduction?
Any advise welcome!
Paul.
ps - I wish my quattro was fibre glass - have just found a couple of nasty bits that will now trigger a restoration! I HATE rust!

use a twist knot brush in an angle grinder, get rid off all the old s
t and then make good with some new fibreglass resin and catylist to restore the surface finish. you can then either spray apply stonechip and overpaint or just paint.
if you don't want to go as far as that, follow steps 1 and 2 then finish with black stonechip.
NEVER use rubberised underseal or underbody schutz It is cack only applied to rusty bangers to disguise rust to get them through MOT's
