2500M performance exhaust?
Discussion
After a weekend of reading books and weighing up the options I have decided to stick with the Tr 2.5 Straight six engine. I am planning on fiddling with it to increase the power slightly over the next 12 months. (increasing compression, new cam etc)
But for now I want to fit a new exhaust as the current one has a less than ideal design.
From reading various books etc it suggests that a 6-3-1 arrangement is best by joining 1+6/2+5/3+4 with equal length primaries of about 17", the three secondaries then extend another 35" or so back under the gearbox before joining together under the gearbox. That then continues back through a straight through muffler box to the back of the car.
From the maths and reading the books that design should give the best possible pulse extraction from the opposing cylinder.
I am interested to hear what others have done in terms of performance exhausts on the 2500M? There seems to be nothing available off the shelf for TVR or triumph that actually roughly fits in with the maths, even those sold my Moss have horendously unequal length primaries....
Are there any suppliers of such an item, or am I going to have to invest in a TIG welder and do it myself?

You can try 'JP stainless exhausts' in Cheshire 01625 619916 http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/ I had my crossflow manifold made there for my vixen.
Hope this helps.

I know you won't regret this decision. I was looking for contact info for J K Jackson who races (raced?) the wildest sounding TR6 I've ever heard when I came across this http://www.hottr6.com/triumph/tr6cams.htmlCouldn't get the contact info but I'm sure one of these people http://www.templeoftriumph.org/Newsletters/Newslet...
can get it for you. I'd contact him or another guy by the name of Glen Efinger to talk about high performance TR6 stuff.

Good luck,
