Do 1800's'Grantura's ( 1965 and 1966 ) qualify for any historic race series? There seems to be some confusion whether the 'manx tail car' is eligible.

Thanks

Lots, depends where you want to go with it. HSCC and CSCC both have a series it would run in. Stay away from anything that starts in FIA and you should have fune without the grief.

Your car should be eligible for all historic racing!

Your car "should" also be eligible for Fia as an HTP entry in that a similar car to yours was manufactured prior to 1966 albeit with a tenuous link. The only eligibility issues for your car will be around Fia international historic racing where eligibility scrutineering and knowledge can play a part.

There is no confusion. There are two 1965 MkIII 1800S with papers for FIA GTS11 period F - Mark Ashworth's and mine. MKIVs are not legal as they never ran in international events in period - unless you can prove otherwise.

If it conforms to period spec (which neither HSCC or CSCC are) then all FIA events, Equipe GTS amd FISC would all be pleased to see you.
