You will need new rear springs as well, otherwise your exhaust will be on the floor. There is quite a weight difference between the Salisbury and the Triumph diffs

What are you doing with the car? what engine and driveline are you proposing to use? What is the intended future use of the car, IE Road, Track, Full Race, Historic?

hi, i am replacing my sprint scimitar with a v6 vixen. ie i have an engine and box that will fit and a low budget.
But it will allow me convert from a saloon to sportscar configuration and by developement achieve a competive car

Does the car need to be historically accurate? if not there are much lighter diffs to fit than a 4HU?

hi, yes it can be a modified ,but as i have a box, the diff and the engine these are units i will use.
simply because of budget. But who knows what reconfigurations can be considered when it is competing.
ie a reliant 5a scimitar as to compete as ford v6 ,but the vixen as from 4 cly to 8cly.

thanks
