I might buy it just to take the number plate and put it on my quattro - then scrap what's left.

Audi 00 would look great in a nice italic font.............. NOT!

Which part of "Unfortunately, during this time, the original registration number was sold off and an age related number is now recorded on the V5 registration document." didn't you read? wink

I remember seeing this car on a driveway, somewhere near Basildon, in the 1980s, still with AUD 100 as it's registration. I offered the buy it for £250 cash, but my offer was, strangely, refused. Wonder why??

I might stretch to the £350 asking pricehehe

Colin. I was reading "down the hatch" the other day. Did you / family run into Tony llanfranchi in a professional capacity during your reign?

If you mean Tony Lanfranchi, I met him once at Brands Hatch.

The rumours that I ran into Tony Llanfranchi, of Merthyr Tydfil, are completely untrue. He ran into me, and I have witnesses wink

You're not suggesting its overpriced are you? If you add the cost of getting it on-track, you could buy something really tasty.

Mind you, you wouldn't have any trouble getting FIA papers as the seller is an FIA scrutineer. He might even let you enter his race series - no conflict of interests and nothing improper there then.........

Dont think thats correct, he no longer has anything to do with the race series. So your conflict of interests is incorrect.

I don't think that is where the potential issue lies..........

So is Christophe on his own now? 2010 calendar doesn't look as strong as previous years to me
