Got a PM from a PH'er in France, wondering if I could supply him with the paint code of my 2500M. I sold the car last spring, and never bothered to to jot down the TVR code. In any case, I only knew the colour as mahogany brown, and can find no reference to that description in the various paint codes listed on the Pistonheads TVR forums.
The car had a re spray done in the late 80's, but I believe the colour was a pretty close match to the original.
Hoping that someone may recognize the colour of my previously owned M and help this chap out.
Thanks, Paul

Hello,
thanks Paul for this topic.
my 2500M is in paint and it's very difficult to find a good colour for her.
My original colour is onyx brown (code paint 30 742M60), like as dark chocolate brown.

So if somebody know a connection of code paint!!

And If somebody know the owner of this car in USA because if I don't have connection paint with onyx brown, id'like to take this paint.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I had a 3000M that colour, from the mid-1970s. The paint code cross-referenced with a Peugeot colour.

thanks for your help.
Paul: I have see the topic about TVR code but I don't find Onyx Brown.
I think chocolate or cognac brown are good colour.
but you think that if I give 0673B 2K or C374B 2K to my painter he can find the colour.
because in France, any automobile garage have TVR code paint reference.
thanks
