If its period looking seats, then cobra classic or clubman are a good choice. I've heard in the past that MX5 seats fit very well. Not sure but it's worth a measure...

Talk to motordrive seats in Radcliffe near Bury.

They build some very nice and good quality / cost seats

in a vixen the law of diminishing returns applies. IE in my case I needed a fat seat for my arse but thin enough to fit in the car.

You could try Corbeau.......

http://www.corbeau-seats.co.uk/road_gt4.htm

I think these are similar to the original seats, Corbeau were willing to make small changes when I bough some about 5 years ago.

I found the difficulty was getting any that were narrow enough to fit in - and then me fitting as well! I'm 6'1" but with a long back and short legs so had difficulty getting a set up with sufficient headroom. My car had spacers between the seat and its sub-frame at the front that increased the (fixed) seat rake, I re-used these which helped.

Look at the new Sparco Classic seats, they seen to fit the bill in more ways than one. Alternatively browse Seats4U.

Alan,

Sorry can't help with you sunvisor or glovebox question, but I need to fit some seats to my S3 also and would really appreciate a photo of how yours look. Any chance of posting a picture?

Thx

Hi Steve hope this helps I decided to go for the Cub seats because of the low sides. The Classic CS and the Classic RS are nice seats.
Regards Alan.

Alan, thx for the photo. They do look really good and you're right about the low sides.

Are yours leather or vinyl and if so how good is the vinyl quality? I'd like leather but the price difference is massive.

Alan, just about to order a pair of Cobra Cubs. However I noticed in your photo a nice new carpet set which I also need. Did you buy this off the shelf or have it made specifically. Either way could you point me in the direction of where to go for carpets and how much they cost. Thx Steve

I found this a while ago

Clicky

Not specifically for a vixen, but I'm sure there can't be that many differences.

It can be done DIY style just by buying some carpet. We got some for our M, did the parcel shelf bit and both mats.
Some of the sections look quite tricky, but I'm sure with some time and patience it'll all be possible and look pretty good.
