I've just wasted time and money viewing a car which turned out to be a right lemon. I know it happens all the time, but why can't people be honest when describing the car they're selling. This particular one was described as being in good condition, having a chassis with no rust and needing no work doing to it. Realistically as it was over 40 years old, I did expect it to be in a worse state than they had described. But to find a knackered chassis with a flat steel bar chicken poo welded along the underside of the lower chassis rail as an attempt to repair rusted through tubes, with holes blown in the tube from arc welding is just taking the ....... Oh the engine sounded like a bag of bolts, neither the speedo nor rev counter were working and at that point I gave up and went home with an empty trailer.

Well at least I feel a bit better getting that off my chest.

Steve... my 2500m is still for sale, Im in Malvern... car is not 100% perfect, but the chassis is, plus recent re-spray, polybushes, diff re-furb etc etc. Few bits need tidying up, but nothing you couldnt handle on a weekend or two.

Im sure you emailed me a while ago asking about it...
