Well in the TVR classic area one could say nice source of spares, eg:- engine, rear lights.

Parents had one for last 20 odd years (SE6a Auto). I found it a bit small both in head room and in seeing out the back.

At the moment they are dirt cheap and so a fun starter 2+2 plastic classic. My brother is now using the car.

The late models had an uprated stub axel and wheel bearing on the front.

Its a simple conversion for the M series, replacment stub axel, bearing and hub....

As well as my 2 TVR's I also own a 1975 SE5A which I have owned for 11 years. I use at least 2 or 3 time a week and it's a great car. It's fun to drive, though not as much fun as the TVR's, and has the advantage of 4 seats although the rear ones aren't that big.

Had a couple of these in the past. Very good cheap classic and quite economical if you don't give them too much right boot, spares not bad to get hold either.

My mother has had one of these from new (a scary 27 years now). Fun but quite high maintenance as they get older - particularly electrical niggles
