I'm assuming its from the official website?

http://www.formula1.com/tickets_and_travel/

We're only going general entry, and will be camping over there.

Any other tips for a Spa first timer?

Cheers

www.spagrandprix.com is THE official site (others claim to be but are not, and MAY let you down with tickets, as happened to me last year)

Cheapest is 145€ for Bronze +mobility solution (?) Sunday, or 150€ for the weekend if you buy before 31st May.

I already received my ticket a few weeks back, so they are professional.

Take a decent pair of walking boots/shoes, lightweight waterproofs, insect repellant don't eat the waffles! I did and it was, I imagine, what eating one of the heat deflecting tiles off the space shuttle taste like!

And tickets direct from circuit.

Official website is the cheapest for tickets, Ive got mine, im also in the official camping which is a tad expansive, in past years we have camped with a local farmer which was cheap but you can't book in advance so are taking a risk.

We stayed at camping eau rouge, about 1 1/2 mile walk to circuit.
If I go again I'd take pushbikes.

Camping with a farmer?

Is it more of a turn up find a local field and hope they have space for you?

Official ticket shop has 5% off tickets.

I have my tickets and camping sorting through the spa GP site. Will be camping at the yellow campsit.

All tickets have arrived so just need to sort out the tent now

Got them from the Offical Spa site as linked to above (thankyou)

Never been before so we went for bronze general admission - I can spend more in future years!

And we're camping - friend has booked camping and parking for us yesterday - just waiting to find out where / which site etc.

Hey

Went to Spa 2010- Had a great time.....we had bronze admission. If you dont get Kangaroo tv (which is a rip off) sit somewhere were you can see a big screen, as the laps are so long you can lose track otherwise.

We sat on Puhon- had about 12secs worth of seeing the cars which was sweet and an angle on the big screen too, seemed the best place for bronze.
Order either from f1 themselves or spa circuit- with the spa circuit you get a cool lanyard thing for your pass etc.

Well worth going on the pit walk on the thursday- get some autographs see them working on the cars, walk on the pit straight!! was good

In terms of camping we stayed at Eau Rouge camping- full of annoying noisy dutch folk (no offence) but other than that great. Bit of a walk to the circuit but free shuttle on race day!!

Camping, ferry etc all now booked.

We're sailing Thursday lunch time, planning on stopping somewhere enroute for a night out.

Any suggestions of anywhere between Calais & Spa?

We'll then get up Fri morning, drive in, set up camp and make Friday practice!
