I spoke to Jenna at Donny yesterday - they cannot do testing on Fridays (council noise regs!). I asked her if we could leave the car and rig in one of the pit garages (locked) over night Thursday & Friday and she said she'd make enquiries and get back to me - she hasn't yet. I'm minded to go earlier in the month to be honest (7th?) otherwise its too much bloody hassle over the race weekend. biggrin

I asked the same questions today to someone else in the office and I too am waiting for them to get back to me. Can't be hard to answer, they must be asked the same questions before every race for gods sake!

Just checked my emails and have been told it shouldn't be a problem (storing the car & rig) as they don’t have anything booked on the track for the Friday at the moment. biggrin

East midlands airport keith
Dont do what i did ie watch the big jet come straight at you while blatting through the craner curves as you will go straight on at macleans (old hairpin) while testing!!!! back in 2006 "BC"(thanks G i had forgotten it was that long ago)

That's probably where you went wrong Kev, McLeans is about half a mile further on from the Old Hairpin!

LOL!! You don't need to test to learn a circuit surely?? Or is that where I'm losing out? haha... I've been to Dony but never driven it, adn my testing will be practice (though that goes for every circuit I've been to last year and going to this year with Snett's new layout too).

Dave - you do realise we're not on the new Snett 300 circuit, more's the pity as I wasted a track day there a month go. All we get is minor re-profiling of a couple of bends on the 200 ciruit - guess you could drive that blind! ! !

1) I was watching a passing boat :- Anglesey
2) I was watching the rain come in :- Knockhill
3) I was watching the tide come across the circuit :- pembrey

Yeah Richard I know it's the little circuit at Snett, though from what I've heard the new Corum is said to be rather more tricky?? I suppose I've never got the attraction of testing at our level of racing - it isn;t just the test day fee it;s all the other expenses that add up too... To me it's a hobby - for fun smile

LOL - I don't even know if the tyres will work yet, and don't expect much from me at turn 1 next weekend - I don't know how cold slicks of that size will work yet!!
