I have a set of slicks (front) and need to get a couple of tread grooves cut in them so they compliment my intermediates (rear). Does anyone know of a place that will do this and how much?
I am contemplating Merlin at Combe as I'm close (Wilts)

Merlin specialise in daylight robbery.

Go to a place that does truck tyres and ask if they can cut the tread. Mark out what you want cut with chalk and tell them what depth. Slip the guy a tenner. Job jobbed.
