I think, for more than one reason, this is a must win race for Hamilton. He needs to get maximum points, and also prove that he can move on from a tough weekend in Monaco and do the business here. I have no doubt that he will.

I would like to see Di Resta do well here. I think the circuit should suit him.

Vettel

Webber.

Hamilton will crash after the mechanics fail to account for the massive chip on his shoulder when they balance the car.

Vettel for pole, but Hamilton to win, with Button a close second.

This is a McLaren 1-2 if there ever was one. I tip Petrov to do well as well, the Renault is very fast in a straight line.

Hamilton has a habit of following up a very bad weekend with a win - so my moneys on a Macca 1-2.

I doubt we'll see any 1 stoppers - someone surfaced Canada with sandpaper.

Hamilton will be perfectly balanced with a chip on each shoulder.

But he will drive it into the wall of champions, as will webber, schumacher and massa.

I hope that anybody can cross the winning line before Vettel preferably English speaking. Failing that an Aussie would be preferable.

There was an interesting interview with Paul Hembrey, from Pirelli. He was saying that if the tyres grip, they won't wear out, but if they are too hard, they will slide and wear out. That is why they have gone for the soft/supersoft.
