British GP Parking Night Before

Back in the 90's I used to go to Silverstone for the British GP the evening before, park in the official car parks - drink a lot of booze at the many entertaining venues and have a few hours kip in the car to be up first thing to set up our seats somewhere in the General Admission areas.

Is this still possible nowadays?

Back in the 70's if you were camping there ,you could also get your car on the track in the early hours

Probably not possible now !!
