Well, onto Valencia. Traditionally quite dull, will Red Bull be able to pull further ahead? Can it possibly match the last two races? Will my heart take it?

Well no, but best to have discussion on Valencia in a thread about Valencia rather then Canada, don't you think? I wanted to ask questions about Valencia.

rolleyes right back at ya. wink

Yes, but I wanted to ask questions related to the upcoming European GP and did not want to clutter the Canadian GP thread with them. Tradition would dictate that discussion about each GP remains in a single thread, and as time goes on said thread may contain spoilers about the race, which the thread starter may not be around to amend the title of to show that the thread may contain spoilers.

Thus, I had some questions about the upcoming European GP, could not see a thread about the European GP in which to place my questions, and thought I would start a thread about the European GP using the standard naming scheme used for the other threads.

Not really that difficult is it?

Anyway, more high speed corners suggest it's probably a Red Bull circuit, but I wonder whether other teams will get into a positive mindset after this weekend?

My predictions

1. Vettel for the win

2. Lewis will attempt to overtake someone who 'forgets' to check his mirrors, turns into Lewis and everyone screams for Lewis to be burned on a stake.

I couldn't tell you, but it's the thread title used for all the other races, it seemed like a sensible idea at the time. wink

Yep, not having a dig at you. Just don't get the Official titles.

Anyway, my money is on another Vettel bore-fest. I really can't see any other result unless the weather plays into it again which is unlikely in Valencia.

The circuit at Valencia that they test on is a purpose built race track and the one they race on is a street circuit, making those times meaningless.

Are there extra PH Miles for starting the "Official" thread 2 weeks before the event? rolleyes
You get 10 PH miles for every page of the thread, and a bonus 1000 points if it makes it over 100 pages; plus this one has more stars in the title than has been used in the past, so the OP could be on to a winner and joining 'jasandjules' in the Bahamas after the miles he racked up from starting the Canada thread!

Seriously though, look at the other threads, this one is not especially early.

It's called the official thread so plebs don't start hundreds of the same threads on race day then argue that "yours isn't the official one..."

It saves hassle.

Next.

This circuit is gash. It will probably be a Red Bull win. Let's hope it's Webber.

If it's wet it could be Schumacher. wink

Well my mates and I are discussing it already so why not a thread on PH's.

Circuit should favour RedBull, very little overtaking and a tight track could be interesting especially if Lewis doesn't do well in qualy and tries to overtake everyone on the first lap. One for Lewis to get a decent finish even if it means qualifying in 3rd and staying there he needs a solid race after the last two incident packed ones.

Lets hope it rains, not too hard though.

Very little chance of rain in Valencia in late June.

Pole will be more important here, though with the walls there could be safety cars.
