What do you think ?

For me it was an amazing drive, lets put him under more pressure and see if he can do it again.

Well done Jenson for giving me something to remember for life. bowbeer

Sarge. in a word; yes!.

I think it was one of the best F1 drives of the modern era, up there with the very best of 'em. A truly scintillating performance. Congratulations to him.

I would put it as a massive YES!

Never understand when my housemates are jumping around screaming when watching football, but last night I was doing the same - when Seb slid, I just screamed "YESSSSSS".

Classic drive, totally unexpected with all the drive throughs, top driver.

Really can't remember a drive like that.

Effectively starting in last place in a 35 lap race and winning.

That was truly superb. We had the usual troop of complete muppets, with their "Hamilton is sooooo much better than Button" and "Hamilton overtakes sooooo much more than Button" crap. Then Jenson drives to victory from 21st position, on a wet, proper race track, despite the best efforts of his "team mate" and an ill planned place defense by Fernando, to wreck his afternoon. That was the best "up yours" I've seen for a long time. The same has to be said for Schumacher.

Fantastic result for JB, brilliant racing. I'm so pleased for him.

But what made him sooo fast? Don't think it was tyres, certainly wasn't his handful of visits to the pitlane. Was he just inspired?

It's far from the first time he's been quick in those conditions, he seems to be better than most at finding out the grip when on a drying track. The lap time differences were huge at times - I'm sure at times he was 4 seconds a lap quicker than Vettel.

I think it was one of the best 10-lap Grands Prix ever. The best race ever? No.

For three hours nothing happened.

I enjoyed it no end but for most of the time I was moaning.

All this sounds very emotionally driven.

I thought his best-ever drive was to win in Hungary in 2006. He didn't have the best car then - probably 3rd best - and out-Schumi'd Schumi and did it in the wet with a consistent controlled race. He also didn't need the SC to help his cause several times...

This one was certainly his most exciting drive, if a bit lucky (for once!).

Without doubt the best that I can recall ever seeing Button drive, and I don't think it is unfair to say that the 2011 Canadian race, and in particular the performance of the winning driver, will go down in history as one of F1's high points.

A race to be recalled and spoken about for years to come, and with the performance across the whole weekend of "drift king" Kobiashi, one of my favourite races ever - the GF was whinging at about 8pm that she was bored, and what a waste of an evening the race was, but was yelling at the TV just as load as I was closer to 10pm!

Magic!

I loved it. Well up there with his drive to take the championship at Inter Lagos.

In fact the whole race was brilliant with loads of people putting in great drives. Schumi was on fire. I so wanted him to get a podium. Funny as now he's the underdog I'm gunning for him!

I would say so yes, i've just finished watching it for the 4th time and after taking it all in (and fook me there was a lot to take in) it far surpasses brazil 2009 as his best drive, he was on a differant planet yesterday, a race Senna would of been proud of if that meens anything i never was a senna fan really.

It was an epic race and well worth the wait last night.

I'm a Hamilton fanby, as i like his aggressive style but Button went very high up in my estimations last night.

It was a truely epic win and the best race/win i have ever seen!

Jenson Button, I salute you!

I wouldn't say he was "on it" from the start, he seemed to struggle on the wets. But as soon as he changed to the inters and then the slicks, he was simply awesome.

His smooth driving technique paying dividends. It was quite unbelieveable how fast and how accurate his driving line was compared to everyone else. He was 2/3 secs a lap quicker than everyone. Vettle matched him for a 1/2 lap but then went off line very slightly...

How Button done what he done yesterday was so remarkable. There was no room for error after the final safety car and he nailed it!
