The saddest thing is if he spent less time trying to be seen as blacker than yow an all gagsta init, thinking the World owes him all he wants, together with generally acting the

I see your humour but isn't that more antagonistic than funny?
Last I knew PH was supposed to be a a car and fan forum not a hate site. Although it seems it doesn't appear to work out that way.
LH has never claimed/aimed to be Senna, only a fan of. It's other people relating him to Senna, notably the Brazillians. Which says a lot. His style is as result of him emulating his hero as is the case for most passionate people. (Actually IMO his racing style and techinque is more akin to Mansell but hey ho).
As for believing he is the best, it's the same for every driver.
Fair play re: the celebrity stuff.
btw I preferred the Inoue original.

Personally I prefer to think of Gilles Villeneuve when I see LH's driving, but I like your style 
. I definitely think that had the internet existed back then Gilles and Nige would be polarising opinion in exactly the same way as Lewis is. In fact, sadly a marshal was killed as a result of one of Gilles' exploits - imagine how that would go down today.Certainly though, the OP is a prime example of how the masses in this country like to treat anyone who has the temerity to raise his head above the parapet.

It's what he said at the ICA hearing to one of Ferrari's lawyers back in 2008..However, I'm sure he didn't mean to disrespect Senna. Considering how much he holds Senna in reverence, it's probably something that he blurted out in the heat of the moment.

Correction. He DIDN'T say he was as good as Senna. He said he was "the best at my job" (ie. racing).
Apparently, some German sports mag quoted him as saying he's as good as Senna. A bit dubious.

Agree. Although I like what he does in the car, I also agree ham does spend alot of his time trying to be cool (and failing) out of it. Who were the cool gangsta boyz that were constantly hanging around in his garage and with him where ever he went in Canada? Very strange.. I think we're better off waiting until his career is over one way or another. Let history judge him, if you like.So far this year his driving has been highly questionable on a number of occasions and out of the car he has done himself no favours at all.

I think that you are right as a whole, but it is also possible to look at a person's current form to suggest the direction they are heading in. At the minute LH is not, IMO, driving as well as he did in his first 2 seasons. 2010 was not a great year for him but he did well with the tools at his disposal. Last year he showed flashes of his old self but started to show that he can crack under pressure.

So how would you evaluate Alonso's season so far? Lewis was second in the championships before Monaco and he still sits second favourite to win in Valencia and joint second with Alonso to finish behind Vettel this year. If you think Lewis isnt performing then i dread to think what you feel about the rest of the field. but just think how close to Vettel Lewis could be if he wasn't quite as impetuous and if he thought more about his racing. He threw his last two races away really. That's not the way to win Championships even though it's entertaining.Alonso aims to come away with points. Lewis aims to win the race, even if it means scoring no points. That strategy will not win you a championship, as noble and pure as it may be in the racing spirit.
