As a manager, he was OK, as a commentator, he is annoying. Jake Humphries is pretty good though. I think he, DC and MB work well. Jordan is there so that the others don't get picked on.

He is the reason I record the GP and watch it later - just so I can FF through any bits where he is talking..

He, in my mind, is very much the latter.

He has some useful insight and is not afraid to ask direct questions.

Yes, he can be irritating, but I think the BBC coverage is spot on.

I like EJ's team-management insight pov. Balances out the hordes of ex/current drivers they have involved in commentary.

The fact that he is well known and respected in the pitlane helps massively with his touchy-feely personality.

I quite like the guy TBH, but personable-ness to the viewer shouldn;t be that relevant when he is there for technical insight. Being fun to watch/listen to is the job of the anchorman and the lead commentator.

EJ is great because he asks the questions that I most want asked and everyone else is too polite/scared to ask.

I swear Jake Humphries is going down hill though.

How many times did he mention "used to be a Fish market" and "Jensons greatest drive" this weekend?

What else was there to talk about though? Certainly not the race...
