Alternative Venues For The European GP

After sitting through 2 hours of bends on similar looking concrete walls amd the Brundel fly getting extited by the sort of camera angles you can get with a scalextric set.

Lets have some suggestions for alternative circuits for next years European Grand prix. I'll start you off

They could replicate what they've done in Valencia here in the UK and hold a GP in Tilbury or Portsmouth.

If the FIA and/or FOCA are feeling particularly girly and fey, there's always the Bugatti circuit.

But my vote is for 30 laps of the biggun.

Ironically, the track layout Gillet proposed would probably work well and compliment Silverstone a treat.

IMHO, as a country we make the best case for having 2 GP's

They should have soul & character & not be designed as they are these days. Most of the circuits are pretty soul-less places totally devoid of any feeling or care. The current crop of circuits are dull in my humble opinion.

Agree on Donington. It has the planning permission. Not so Brands, as the changes will kill it.

How about ome of the great road races: Targa Florio. 5 laps, pit stops every lap.

Wait - had a better idea...

Close the M25 and use that - plenty of room to overtake, you've got a tunnel, a bridge, plenty of twists - if they are fast enough you could get 2 laps in

So we all agree ther's not a lot of alternatives.... last year only the official RB number 2's banzi trick saved the day.....oh and Kobyashi blitzing Alonso, but they have had long enough Valencia is a joke.
