Snetterton

Can we have some clarification as to the race length for the British Endurance Championship at Snetterton? The posts on here previously (Under the thread 'Donington Race Cancelled') suggested that it was going to be extended to 4 hours to make up for the lack of track time at Spa and Thruxton, however the minutes from the meeting held at Castle Combe which were sent out state that Snetterton will be 3 hours. The website still currently says 180 minutes too.

It was proposed that the race was lengthened to 4 hours as a guesture to compensate for the loss of track time teams have experienced at Thruxton (weather causing cancellation fo the race meeting) and Spa (timetable issues with the event organiser).

During the teams meeting at Castle Combe the teams voted to keep the race at 3 hours and have the lost track time reimbursed as extra free practice at the meeting instead. This was detailed in the minutes of the meeting which, as they were produced after the original notification of the cancellation of Donington, supersedes any previous statements. The race entry information on the website also shows it as a 3 hour race.
