Main thing that irritated me today was when he kept blathering on about how the only thing Kobayashi could of done to avoid the collision with Hamilton was to drive off the track. How about use his brakes Eddie?! He already lost the corner after all. (I do not hold Kobay 100% to blame btw)
Still like him on the programme though.

I actually thought that was very unprofessional of him. Martin whitmarsh was obviously uncomfortable talking about the matter, and have a reasonable response. Then, EJ continued barking on at him. It wasn't the time or the place to be having that discussion, pundits are there to discuss with each other, not to put team principles in awkward positions after disappointing results.Nick3point2 said:

There are other pundits out there that are 100% coblers, so he isnt too unbearable compared to them.

He has the ability to mangle the english language like no other, and I get the impression that what comes out of his mouth is as much a surprise to him as everyone else. I'm getting a bit bored of him saying "I just have to ask you this question..." Just bloody ask it then! It's what they are expecting, you are interviewing them!
However, he seems to have found himself in the position of being the 'attack dog' of this particular trio and has embraced this role of F1's Paxman quite well. He asks some pointed and difficult questions, but I get the impression that Martin Whitmarsh things he is someone to be tolerated, not respected.
Overall, I think he's settling into the role quite well, and now he's stopped the self promotion bull, I'll miss him next year.

As for what he actually says and his use of the English Language, on the stage after the race at Silverstone DC was asked about EJ, DC said that when they are off air he often says to EJ "where were you going with that comment?" to which EJ replies "I don't f
king know". Seems about right to me!I like Eddie. You're never quite sure what he's going to say. He definately makes the tv coverage more interesting with his pointed questions - he doesn't give a monkey's if he upsets any of the team owners which is great.
As an ex-team owner who achieved a degree of success in F1 that he perhaps shouldn't have against the might of Ferarri and Mclaren he deserves alot of respect, although quite how the little leprecaun managed to steer a team towards winning races is a bit if a mystery to me - Are there any books about him and his career?
He also brought us some of the best looking F1 cars of the last 20 years.

I did not used to like Eddie Jordan but he has grown on me some times he talks coblers but more often now he is near the mark and he asks the questions everyone else dare not.
I will miss him next year it is a shame he was not been allowed to ask the awkward questions over the SKY / BBC TV coverage to Bernie and the teams.
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when EJ and the always outspoken Eddie Irvine were negotiating drivers contracts I bet that was really awkward.
I like DC but I just wish he would cool off on the constant Ra Ra Red Bull company line. I can not remember the last time he criticised any thing to do with his former employer (or is his still paid as official ambassador).

At first, I didn't see what he added to the team, but in the last 12 months (since he hounded Domencali at Hockenheim) he asks the questions that no one else could get away with.
Asking Alguesari if he has improved since the threat of being fired is the sort of great opening question that is rarely asked in politically correct F1.
Now go and ask Adrian Newey why he didn't change the camber on his cars when Pirelli suggested they may not last another half a lap. Would love to see that!
