Btcc knockhill

After a 4 week break the btcc is back in action in my opinion the best track of the season.

Not a lot of news yet but Gilham has left 888 and 888 are after another driver to race at knockhill also RAR has signed chris swanich to race for them for the final 2 rounds so another car on the grid at brands.

Also a picture is up of the GSR turbo bmw no news of when they will be out.

So it will be tv for me and hoping to be at rockingham for the following round.

Formula Renault and the Clio Cup are missing this one so the Scottish Classic Sports & Saloons and the Celtic Speed Mini Cooper Cup are supporting.

27 Minis on the grid and racing right through the field should be one hell of a race! (Youtube Scottish Mini Cooper cup for an idea!!)

The Classics will be like the BTCC of old, Minis and mk2 Escorts, 911s, Alfas, Morgans. The works!

Forgot about that about time the support package gets a change we should be in for a fantastic day of racing and thank good the fomula renaults aren't racing boring as hell wish they would take the porschers out aswel.

Whats the chances we will see these races though? Isn't it most likely itv4 will just show the btcc n 3xginetta supercup 2xjuniors n 2xporsches rather than show the scottish support races as we have never seen the scottish supporting championships on tv before despite the fact renaults never go.

Is it a forth one they have or the old black one? Heard it got abit bent in ireland and appeared to be slower at the last round.

More news coming out. 888 is to run in the uae touring car series over the winter with there vectras no drivers confirmed as of yet. Also gilham seat has been taken by aron smith who is 2nd in the clio cup for knockhill only. So so far 26 cars entered which is rair normaly a few drivers dont turn up.

Both Renault series' showed up last year but in low volumes.

Word on the jungle drums is they will be shown.

I look forward to the Classic Sports & Saloons making the BTCC look very silly. I've trundled up to Knockhill a few times to see them and they're always great to watch. The same applies to the Minis v the Clio Cup.

Great news dynamics have confirmed they are building a new civic to ngtc regs for 2012 this is a manafactured back team so next year is already looking promising.

Any they are likely to win nothing as they are in the same class as full on Seat Supercopra's.

To be honest i perfer fewer manafactures but its nice to have 1 or 2 in the series just for security im not 100% sure of the amout of involvment honda have in team dynamics but its goot to hear that a big team will be developing a ngtc car.
