Well only 2 more rounds left and the champonships is still as tight as ever. The 2 honda drivers seems to be the ones who will be in contention and with jacksons dreadfull last 2 rounds hes out only plato and nash have a realistic chance to beat them.

Not much news as of yet but RAR should have there 2nd car out for chris swanich and if lea wood and hughes turn up with the integra and toyota we should see 28 cars on the grid.

Will gsr finally turn to turbo power and have there 2nd car out.

Will 888 only run 1 car.

Will we she more tweaking of the cars perfromace very much dought it.

Will a ngtc car win their first race both rob and frank came close at rockingham mayby dan welch can spring a surprise after 3 strong races at the last round in the proton.

So who will be going and whos watching it on tv.

I will be tv for me brands just to far away.

Sky+ for me. I'll be at the Sunday Service at Silverstone. Should be some good racing at Brands this weekend, as much as I want Matt Neal to be champion, I have a feeling that Sheddon is just going to sneak it this year.

Dan Welch has always gone supremely well at Brands - he dominated the SEAT Leon Eurocup round that was held there last year in a car that was nowhere near as fast or as well set up as those of some of his rivals...I wouldn't be surprised to see him taking a bite out of the top 10.

I am really looking forward to it.

Going to be there for both Saturday and Sunday.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Frank Wrathall may get his first win the is weekend.

Nope, the second car is being driven by a large goon with virtually zero front wheel drive experience...

Is this goon looking for a BTCC drive next season, or just a one off?

And who is the goon.

Also speedworks will be back at brands with a upgraded toyota so if lea wood is racing and 888 get there 2nd car out we should see a 29 car grid.

Whoever this character is, he looks like Frank Sidebottom in the photo on the Autosport website http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/94900.
hehe

PS, any chance you could punt Neal off? I'd much rather see Shedden win the Championship. thumbup

Nice of them to choose a flattering picture! Thankfully I've been down the gym a few times since then!

If Matt Neal has a sudden talent failure and finds himself amongst the tuggers at the back I'll try to oblige!

I'd love to do a full season, but it depends on a lot of factors, and I still really enjoy driving the Lotus!

Say hello to James and hopefully see him in Newport Pagnell at Christmas.

I don't know if this of interest to anyone, or possible to get organised at this late hour, but I have organised a suite overlooking the Start/finish line for the BTCC meeting this weekend for our "Spectator Club".

I cannot understand why but this has not proved so poular with my "Regulars" and I have 4 spare places.

I am providing
Circuit entry ticket,
Forward parking (Yellow),
Access to the suite all day on Sunday.
Tea and coffee all day,
Pastries in the morning,
Light Buffet lunch.
Saturday Circuit entry ticket for Saturday if required.

I charge £40 per head for all of this. As you can see this is not a commercial venture but more of a club aimed at like minded petrol heads that want to watch motor racing in comfort.

If you are interested please contact me and I'll give you a call.

Most important thing will there be a ph sticker on there and good luck on your first btcc race and you got a fellow porscher driver in the grid to. By the way apart from plato is there any other btcc drivers on ph.

Also any news on the 2nd audi thats is meant to be at brands and silverstone.

Tv for me, done snetterton, Donnington and Rockingham, bit far for me so will save it for Silvestone. Is the BM running the new turbo'd engine for this one?

Posting this in the right thread now...

Can't comment much on the shenanigans behind the scenes but as a regular watcher of BTCC and supporter of Ollie (The Wookie) Jackson in porsche carrera cup last year, I just wanted to say good luck and I'll be shouting for you.

Good luck and may the repair bills be negligible.
