The pinky-purple McLaren sounds filthy! Nice in-car too.

I like the mixture of cars in there, it's an interesting idea.

detail: the pinky-purple McLaren M8F was driven by Helmut Kelleners in 1972. He is the father of Ralf Kelleners, the F1GTR driver.
the M8F is owned by Peter Hoffmann since 1974! This men is 72years young and quite fast as hell.

Peter is a proper legend, he was an Olympic Gold Medal winning wrestler before he started racing.

The ex Helmut Kelleners 1970/71 Interserie March 707/717 should have been at Spa also but had an engine issue, would have been a fun addition to that pack.

The Black M8F is driven by Michael Campagne, that particular car was the VDS racing Interserie car that ran a Turbocharged Big Block for a while.

The Group C Courage that makes a brief viewing is driven by Roger Wills.

Big block CanAm cars are something else, they just keep on pulling, amazing machines.

Brings back very happy memories of watching the long-tailed GTRs at Donington and Silvertone in 1997. Funnily enough I bumped into the sister car to that one over in Canada a few months ago - #23R which belongs to Lawrence Stroll. Really fascinating to watch the difference in performance between Group C/6/7 and a more modern GT1 car. Thanks for sharing!

That F1 must be worth a fortune. It's great to see these older race cars still tearing up the track and looking good doing it.

I know the McLaren won in the end but really great to see the in-car stuff; I watched them practice from Thursday until the race and some of the '70s cars were awesome but when I saw the purple McLaren in the pits with no bodywork I said to jelly there was no way in this world I'd get in it, so fair play to the driver!!

Great find, awesome sounds. You feel the F1 GTR has it overall, but just can't match the big block grunt, especially somewhere as fast as Spa.

Took this naked shot of a Lola T160 a couple of years ago. Just looks heroically unsuitable for the best part of 800bhp! They sure built 'em brave back then - imagine tackling Riverside in that...
