Back to a classic track!
This circuit should be pure Red Bull territory, it certainly was last year. The first sector requires a very good front end, the middle sector requires good brakes and a pricise turn in and the last sector is all about top speed and how you can get the power down.
My prediction:

I'll be working over the weekend so will be relying on radio coverage on the fuzzy station that is BBC Radio Football. PH will of course play it's part too.

All I hope is that Hamilton continues to use his brains much more during the race as appears to have been the case in his last two events.
Using his brains and taking nothing for granted. Plus the up and coming Herr Schumacher does the same ... that was a sad and costly lapse last time..... parking it in the wall like a novice ....

It's also quoted on the Autosport website - I've just tried to look at the video, which is glitching for me at the moment and lunchbreak is over so I'll have a look at it later if it's working better then.

No but it does make me laugh about Massa's crying after the race. If you are holding up a driver on purpose and he goes into the back of you in a corner, well isn't that a risk you take if you are driving slow to hold someone up? Holding someone up means defensive driving. The incident was due to Hamilton not being in control of the car under braking.No2 driver told to try and ruin the race of a serious competitor, to give an advantage to his team mate. Hardly shocking news that. It's his job.
Now if he'd been told "Ram the b
d off the track". That'd be a bit different. As it is the radio call is exactly the sort of thing I'd expect Massa to be told.
If he went about it the right way, or if it was Hamilton's fault they touched is another question. But the radio call is OK in my book.

neevr has the term "no.2 driver" been more appropriate. I'd love to know how Massa really feels these days, he gets a new team mate after being no.2 to Schumi for years, makes an effort, fails, then has to drive in Alonso's shadow for the rest of the season, and now, he can't even race his own race, despite Alonso being good enough and quick enough to fight his own battles, Massa is asked to be mobile chicane, for one specific driver... madness...
Using a team mate to hold up a competitor is clearly not a are thing, F1 is a team game as much as singular goal to be WDC...but these guys are racing for 2nd place!
And using terminology like "lets destroy his race"....sorry that adds a big cloud to Hamilton not being able to control his car going into that corner...without Smedley's remarks, then yes I'm 100% Hamilton went in there hot and got it wrong...WITH those comments, not so clear cut IMO.

I'm really looking forward to this race. I think it likely that SV will be crowned and he is a class act, so no gripes here. I will be rooting for JB for much the same reason, a class act. I'd like to see LH shrug off the albatross he is carrying and I'd also like to see Alonso charging at the line MW seems subdued as I expect he has not been able to assert himself in the team with results.
It has been to date a great season and I've enjoyed it immensely.
I'm glad I'm not partisan though as it would spoil it for me, I like the race and the skill and neither the nationality or marque concerns me at all.

Not being in control of the car is quite a strong way to phrase what happened. If Massa was holding him up then it may just have been that hamilton didn't correctly anticipate the speed massa was going to take through the corner. My point is that Massa's reaction at the end of the race now seems to be over the top considering what he was trying to do in the race.bullies180 said:
