Unaccustomed as I am to public speaking, I would like to go on record and say :

Jolly Well Done!

The weather arrived as per your orders to make it a great weekend.

A very very enjoyable event.

That extends to the whole Britcar24hr crew, the marshals, medics, teams, and everyone who made the event happen.

I hope that the marshal injured in the course of his duties recovers swiftly. Without the ladies and gentlemen of orange, those of us with a need for speed wouldn't be able to do it. Thank you all.

Rob.

Seconded, great event just keeps getting better, its gradually getting the atmosphere and feeling of the really massive races now. I think I heard mentioned over the PA by Brian Jones that the event is now the 5th biggest 24 hr race now, I assume Lemans, Nurburgring, Spa and Dubai are the only ones bigger now. The crowds are certainly getting bigger and the off track entertainment is growing. Can't wait till next year now looking forward to Brands and the traditional season curtain closer.
Well done and thank you to James, Clair and the team.

A very good event this year, it just keeps getting better. The weather doubtlessly brought everyone out, and the garages were full and race team families and friends along en masse to support.

The pre-event pitlane walk, the bands and grid walk in particular was fantastic, exactly what happens at the 'Ring 24 Hour (and I assume what inspired it).

Criticisms? Because this event has some / all roots in the 'Ring 24 hour / VLN, I still can't reconcile the disparity in camping arrangements. I can usually get my car inside the circuit with my gear, tent etc, but there is a wasted opportunity to pack the place solid with campers, who can set up base and cut down the commute from outside tarmac car parks. I know that's Silverstone / BRDC, but they 100% need to make it happen.

Having done both this year, (along with Barcelona24) Britcar 24 this year was much better attended and supported than Dubai!
